I’ve been impressed with the overall poise shown after terrible starts in Indianapolis and Seattle. It’s probably going to need to keep creating turnovers - more on that in a bit - but I think it will. As we’ve seen in recent weeks, it’s ending up on the right side of turnover variance and consistently speeding up opposing quarterbacks. But overall, I see a defense comfortable with its scheme and carrying the right overall mindset. This week’s battle against Lamar Jackson and the red-hot Ravens won’t be easy, and it could be telling. But this Browns defense has been mostly dominant, and that should continue. ![]() ![]() And there are no more games against Ryan Tannehill or Clayton Tune. What’s ahead? Here are my best predictions. January is a long way away, so let’s think in terms of the Browns having eight down and eight to go. But I always look at that final game as a bonus for multiple reasons, and not just those that streamline these formats.
